An incentive is currently in place for referrals to eligible positions in Small Package, UPS Technology Group, Sales, and UPS Capital.

Referrals must be submitted after program launch date outlined in rules to be eligible for incentive.

Who is eligible?

All active U.S. employees (excluding HR employees and grade 50 and above) are eligible to receive an incentive bonus for referrals that adhere to eligibility guidelines.

What’s in it for me?

The incentive will be paid automatically for every referral that adheres to eligibility guidelines.

There is no limit on the number of referrals that can be submitted by one UPSer. However, the maximum total referral incentives a participating employee can receive in a calendar year is $15,000.

2025 US Small Package Employee Referral Program Rules:

Employee referrals must be submitted through the Employee Referral Program at ups.loop.jobs or by texting UPSRefer to 90206 to be eligible for the referral incentive. Referrals submitted via any other source are not eligible for the referral incentive.
A referral incentive will be paid to the referring employee for each referral who is hired for an eligible position and where the referring employee adheres to the 2025 Small Package Employee Referral Program Rules.
The 2025 US Small Package Employee Referral Program applies to referrals who are hired for the following positions: package handler, package driver, feeder driver, driver helper, seasonal support driver, and part-time supervisor.
The referral incentive for the 2025 US Small Package Employee Referral Program is $250.00. Some locations may offer referral incentive higher than that standard amount. Please follow up with local team for additional information.
Referral incentive will be paid out for all eligible hires who remain active for 60 days or end of peak season, whichever comes first.
Only active UPS employees are eligible to receive the referral incentive as part of the 2025 US Small Package Employee Referral Program.
UPSers who work in the Human Resources function (regardless of level) and band 50 UPSers and above are not eligible to receive referral incentives.
Referrals do not guarantee employment for referred candidates.
To be eligible for referral incentive, referrals must be submitted prior to candidate application submission.
Valid e-mail addresses must be submitted to be considered eligible for a referral. E-mail addresses from job boards will not be accepted (@indeed.com, etc.).
Participating employees must submit referrals as described above and will not be eligible for the referral incentive if the candidate submits the referral.
Employees cannot engage in any paid media or advertisement to solicit referrals.
Employees cannot use the UPS shield or UPS imagery on any referral solicitations.
Referral solicitations must clearly state that the participating UPSer is not authorized to communicate terms and conditions of employment on behalf of UPS.
Referral solicitations must clearly state that the participating UPSer is not authorized to make job offers to applicants.
The participating employee is responsible for the accuracy of the information contained in the referral solicitation.
Participating employees may not use rehire lists or other reports/lists of former employees as a source for referrals.
The maximum aggregate referral incentives a participating employee can receive for referrals submitted in a calendar year is $15,000.
The referral incentive will be paid to the UPS employee who referred the candidate only. Some locations may offer referral incentive to UPS referrer and the person referred. Please follow up with local team for additional information.
Only one referral incentive will be paid per referral hire. If multiple employees submit the same referral candidate, the first employee to submit the referral will receive the referral incentive.
Referral incentives will be paid approximately 30 days after the hired referral reaches their eligibility date(s).
The cost center of the referring employee will be responsible for the cost/payout.

UPS Capital Employee Referral Program Rules:

Referral must be submitted through the Employee Referral Program at ups.loop.jobs or by texting UPSRefer to 90206 after the program’s launch date of June 1, 2022 to be eligible for incentive.
Referral incentive is currently in place for administrative through director level positions at UPS Capital.
Referral incentive will be paid out for all eligible hires who remain active for 90 days.
Payment will be issued approximately 30 days after reaching the eligibility date.
Only active UPS Capital employees are eligible to receive incentives for referrals to eligible UPS Capital positions.
The incentive will be paid out to the UPS Capital employee who referred the candidate only, not the referred candidate.
Only one incentive will be paid out per successful hire. If duplicate referrals are submitted, the first employee to submit the referral candidates’ information will be the person to receive the incentive.
The cost center of the referring employee will be responsible for the cost/payout.
All HR employees (regardless of level) and band 50 and above are not eligible to receive referral incentives.
A payout will be received for every referral that results in a hire and adheres to these eligibility rules. Incentive amounts are tiered based on the job the referral is submitted for.

Admin/Specialist: $500 per hire
Supervisor: $800 per hire
Manager: $1,000 per hire
Director: $1,500 per hire

There is no limit on the quantity of referral incentives that an active UPS employee can receive if the process and rules are followed.
Referrals do not guarantee employment for referred candidates.
Referrals must be submitted prior to candidate application submission.

UPS Technology Group (UTG) Employee Referral Program Rules:

Referral must be submitted through the Employee Referral Program at ups.loop.jobs or by texting UPSRefer to 90206 to be eligible for incentive.
A $1,500 referral incentive is currently in place for all full-time UTG positions (supervisor-level and above) in the U.S.
Referral incentive will be paid out for all eligible hires who remain active for 90 days.
The incentive will be paid out to the UPS employee who referred the candidate only, not the referred candidate.
Only one incentive will be paid out per successful hire. If duplicate referrals are submitted, the first employee to submit the referral candidates’ information will be the person to receive the incentive.
Only active UPS employees can submit referrals. This also includes seasonal employees.
Seasonal employees that stay through peak season are eligible for referral incentives submitted prior to the end of peak season. Seasonal employees will be paid for referrals on the same schedule as permanent UPS employees.
Hiring managers that are a part of the selection process are not eligible to receive referral incentives.
The incentive payout is $1,500 per referral that results in a successful hire. A payout will be received for every referral that results in a hire and adheres to these rules.
Referrals do not guarantee employment for referred candidates.

Referral incentive is currently in place for eligible Sales position in the U.S. Eligible positions include Account Executive Non-Territory (AENT), Account Executive (AE), and Senior Account Executive (SAE).
Referral incentive will be paid out for all eligible hires who remain active for 90 days.
Payment will be issued approximately 30 days after reaching the eligibility date.
The incentive will be paid out to the UPS employee who referred the candidate only, not the referred candidate. Some locations may offer referral incentive to UPS referrer and the person referred. Please follow up with local team for additional information.

The Healthcare Account Executive achieves the assigned sales plan by generating profitable UPS revenue growth through the development of new business and the retention of existing business within their assigned accounts. The incumbent analyzes customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions and promptly respond to customers’ requests. This position builds successful partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels of customers’ organizations to cultivate relationships and generate revenue opportunities across all product and service lines. This role meets with customers daily to discuss complaints and obtain supporting documentation (e.g., invoices, etc.). This position collaborates with operations to implement accounts with special needs (e.g., unique delivery schedules, extra conveyors, additional drivers, etc.) to adequately handle customers’ shipping needs.

Primary territory: North Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley

Responsibilities

Executes on previously signed contracts to introduce new products and services to customers and expand business within customer accounts
Performs pre-call analysis (e.g., research account history, shipping details, complaints, etc.) to prepare for sales calls.
Responds to internal sales leads from various sources (e.g., operations, Package Operations staff, etc.) to identify sales opportunities and create a sales strategy
Analyzes price quotes to verify accuracy and determine how to propose the solution to the customer
Generates customer-facing reports to outline shipping history, billing history, and accounts’ incentives (i.e., contracted discounts) and renegotiate contracts
Documents customer information and provides account status to the sales team
Trains customers on proper packaging techniques to avoid damages

Demonstrates familiarity with the core service offerings across business units and deep familiarity with product, service, and customer facing technology offerings of at least one business unit
Possesses knowledge of competitors' offerings and the features of their products, services, and customer facing technology solutions; describes types of customers that would benefit from selected offerings; compares and contrasts UPS's and competitor's products, services, and customer facing technology solutions; able to compare and contrast the customer's experience of engaging with UPS and primary competitors across all touch-points; summarizes positive and negative gaps; develops plans to leverage advantages and correct disadvantages
Considers industry and financial trends when making account decisions; understands critical aspects of business models and operating structures to provide input into decisions
Demonstrates a detailed understanding of competitor’s strategies and offerings; collects, analyzes, and interprets competitive information; identifies areas where UPS is at a competitive disadvantage and suggests ideas for improving its competitive position
Works with others to research stakeholders' and key decision-makers' needs, requirements, and perspectives; describes in general terms customer characteristics, preferences, history, processes and constraints; lists what products and services are currently used by customers; uses knowledge of customers to provide input into which products or features to promote.
Understands customer’s general business needs and knows the account status; may provide information about accounts for use in planning account strategy
Demonstrates a basic understanding of proper processes, procedures, and use of technology for intermodal transportation
Demonstrates the ability to use negotiation techniques in less complex situations; recognizes the potential impact of negotiation proceedings on the business; gains consensus from involved parties
Recognizes when customers are having issues; identifies resolution to basic customer issues and recommends solutions
Builds and maintains relationships throughout a customer organization; makes recommendations regarding account decisions or strategies
Demonstrates a detailed understanding of supply chain concepts; makes recommendations for changes to solve supply chain problems
Experience with supply chain concepts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience - Required
